A record 69 scholarships totaling $221,780 were awarded by the DREAM Partnership this year, including 18 from SRU’s Rock Life program for a combined $54,630.

Dreams are becoming a reality for a group of Slippery Rock University students thanks to a scholarship program. Eighteen recipients of 2025-26 DREAM Partnership Scholarships are students enrolled in the Rock Life program at SRU that provides students with intellectual or developmental disabilities an inclusive college experience.

DREAM Partnership Scholarships offer financial aid to assist students attending 13 DREAM-supported college programs in Pennsylvania. The DREAM Scholars are selected by DREAM’s board of directors and amounts are based on available funding.

Formed by parents and professionals in Pennsylvania who have extensive knowledge related to students with intellectual disabilities and postsecondary education, the DREAM Partnership is a network of colleges in the state that provides educational opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities through certificate programs that lead to competitive employment and independent living.
