Slippery Rock University students and community members played and learned together in an inclusive environment as part of the annual Adaptive Sports Day, hosted by the Recreational Therapy Club at SRU, Feb. 22, at the University’s Aebersold Recreation Center. 

Adaptive sports are modified sports that allow people with disabilities to participate. People of all abilities participated in sports that included sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair racing, adaptive aquatics and blind soccer. 

The event was support by the SRU College of Health Profession’s community events grant.
