University Announcements
Temporary disruption to TouchNet payment system
TouchNet, the University’s campuswide billing and payment system, will be temporarily unavailable from July 1-14. During this time, students and employees will not be able to log into TouchNet, which is accessed through a link on the MySRU portal under the “Pay Bill (TouchNet)” or “Make a Payment” links.
The following services will be paused:
- Viewing or paying student bills (for both students and authorized users).
- Any other payments made through the TouchNet Billing.
Following the disruption:
- An all-campus email will be sent when the system is back online.
- Fall semester billing statements will be generated in late July, as normal, and students will receive an email to log into TouchNet to make payments.
The disruption is necessary to complete updates related to the transition to a new OneSIS Banner information system. For more information, contact Student Accounts at 724.738.2088 or students.accounts@sru.edu.
Kiester Road closure starts today
A portion of Kiester Road along the south side of campus will now be closed June 16 to Aug. 8 as part of the previously announced campus pond dredging project. The start of the closure was delayed 10 days because of weather. Traffic will be detoured to West Lake Lane, Stadium Drive and East Lake Lane. If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Smith, project manager in Facilities and Planning, at 724.738.2912.

Aug. 21: WOW Move-In Day volunteers needed
SRU is seeking volunteers from the campus community to help first-year students move into their residence halls, Aug. 21, as part of the Week of Welcome move-in day.
- This is a long-standing tradition that makes SRU a welcoming environment and distinct from many other institutions.
- There are a variety of times and positions available and every volunteer is essential to the success of WOW, from the move-in coordinators in each residence hall to those directing traffic and providing information at key points around campus.
- Sign up for a volunteer shift on the SRU WOW Volunteer webpage.
For more information, contact Stacy Bluedorn at 724.738.4842 or stacy.bluedorn@sru.edu.
