More than 200 student clubs and organizations at Slippery Rock University lined the courts of the Aebersold Recreation Center, Sept. 4, geared with flyers, trifolds and stickers for students hoping to get involved on campus.

For SRU students, joining a club is more than a line on a job application—it’s a chance to become a leader, learn a new skill or just make friends.

“The involvement fair is a great way to get connected to groups on campus,” said Mackenzie Biemer, graduate assistant for student organizations in the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement. “We have something for everybody, and if you don’t see something you like, you can even start your own club.”

More information about student organizations at SRU is available on the University’s website.
