From left, Lu Ann Znosko, administrative assistant of Academic Affairs, is presented the 2026 President’s Award for Outstanding Service by SRU President Karen Riley. This award was established in 1981 through the generosity of the late Donna and Robert McMullen, '51, a former chair of the Slippery Rock University Foundation, Inc., Board of Directors. The award continues through the generosity of their son Doug, and his wife Linda. Doug is director emeritus of the SRU Foundation Board. The recipient will receive $1,000.

As an organization committed to being a first choice for professionals to thrive in their careers, Slippery Rock University annually celebrates the excellence of its nearly 1,000 employees. SRU recognized several faculty and staff with awards at the Employee Service Recognition ceremony, April 7, at the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
