Among the most outstanding research posters presented by honors students in the region was one from Slippery Rock University.
Alexandra Caldwell, a senior psychology major from Scottdale (Geibel Catholic HS), was one of 10 students to earn the Poster Presentation Award at the Northeast Regional Honors Council’s annual conference last month in Harrisburg.
Caldwell, a student in SRU’s Honors College, presented her paper titled “Strengthening Stress Coping Skills: Outcomes of an Honors College Wellness Retreat.”
The NRHC is an organization of students, faculty and administrators from nearly 200 colleges and universities who support of undergraduate honors learning.
