Take a community impact and collaboration survey

Employees are invited to take a survey that will be used by the SRU’s Strategic Plan Pillar #3 implementation working group that is centered on the University’s “Commitment to Community Impact and Collaboration.” Responses will be used by the group to assess:

  1. Which community partners you are engaging with,
  2. What types of activities you are engaging in, and
  3. How the University can collect and use data about community collaborations for informed internal decision-making.

The brief survey can be completed online and the group will not contact your collaborators or publish their names and contact information. For more information, contact working group co-chair Melissa Swauger at melissa.swauger@sru.edu

SRU transitioning student information system in 2025

SRU is transitioning its student information system this year. Located within the MySRU portal, this system known internally as Banner is used for student directory information, course registration, grade submissions and other administrative tasks.

  • SRU will continue using Banner, so the functionality and modules will remain the same, but there will be a change to a new version and how people access the system beginning with information related to the Fall 2025 semester.
    • OneSIS Banner will be used for Fall 2025 and beyond and
    • Legacy Banner is for all information prior to Fall 2025.
  • The transition will begin to occur in March, before class registration occurs for Fall 2025.
  • Separate logins will be used during the transition until all information is migrated to OneSIS in Fall 2025.

More information is available on the OneSIS FAQ section on the Academic Records webpage. If you have any questions, call Academic Records at 724.738.2010 or email academic.records@sru.edu.
