Showcasing its diverse and vibrant community, Slippery Rock University hosted its biannual International and Multicultural Senior Celebration, Dec. 11, at the Smith Student Center Ballroom. Soon-to-be SRU graduates celebrated their accomplishments and received their stoles that they can wear at the University’s fall commencement ceremony, Dec. 13.

Groups included international and American students who have studied abroad in credit-bearing, long-term programs, as well as graduating seniors who self-identified for their cultures that include LGBTQIA+ identity, military affiliation, National Pan-Hellenic Council organization or other populations.

Hosted by the University’s Office for Inclusive Excellence, this event is intended to celebrate graduates who have shaped the University’s global and cultural landscape.
