Continuing its long-standing commitment to supporting military-affiliated students and alumni, Slippery Rock University will honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces with its annual Veterans Day Ceremony, featuring a raising of the colors, wreath-laying ceremony and a 21-gun salute conducted by cadets from SRU’s Army ROTC program. Following the ceremony, all veterans and their guests are invited to attend a complimentary lunch inside the Alumni House.

The alumni speaker will be John Butch ’72, a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War.

This ceremony is open to the public.
