Nearly 1,000 first-year and transfer students moved into their residence halls at Slippery Rock University, Aug. 21, as Week of Welcome activities began. In addition to hundreds of volunteers helping families move in, the University hosted sessions to give students and families opportunities to ask questions about financial resources, campus life and dining.
Families and friends then took to Boozel Dining Hall’s patio and lobby for fun activities prior to students meeting with their community assistants.
The day concluded with an exciting hypnosis show with Chris Jones from America’s Got Talent’s 10th season.
