SRU welcomed more than 1,400 students to campus, Aug. 22, as the University hosted move-in day for first-year and transfer students. Hundreds of volunteers helped coordinate the effort and carry students’ belongings into their rooms. The day marked the beginning of SRU’s Week of Welcome, a series of events created to acclimate first-year students to college life and life away from home for the first time.
