SRU celebrates Women’s History Month with series of programs

Slippery Rock University is celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of women during March.

Slippery Rock University is celebrating the contributions and accomplishments of women during March. The University is also empowering women and educating the entire campus community with a series of Women’s History Month programs and events.

Coordinated by SRU’s Office for Inclusive Excellence, the following events are available for members of the campus community. More information is available on CORE, SRU’s online platform for student organizations and events.

  • March 6, March 20, March 27 – Women’s Weightlifting Classes, 6-7 p.m. at Aebersold Student Recreation Center. Sponsored by the Women’s Center, Campus Recreation.
  • March 7 – Equal Pay Bake Sale, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Smith Student Center, Lobby. Sponsored by the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance at SRU.
