SRU students present research at the 2024 NCUR

Three Slippery Rock University students presented research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, April 8-10, in Long Beach, California. The following students presented:

  • Cassandra Dietrich, a senior dual dance and theater major from West Alexander, presented “Bill T. Jones’ Curriculum II: Transcending Movement Through Visual Technology.”
  • Grace Venatta, a senior dual dance and history major from Cabot, presented “Cold War Era Cultural Exchange: How Ballet Lifted the Iron Curtain on and off the Stage.”
  • Zsuzhanna Smith, a senior dual dance and economics major, presented “Money In Movement: A Cry For Federal Arts Advocacy.”

Attended by more than 4,000 students, the NCUR is the largest undergraduate research conference in the country.
