Slippery Rock University has hired Natalie Rice as the chief human resources officer, following a national search and extensive feedback from the campus community. Rice, who currently serves as the vice president of human resources at Point Park University, will begin her new role at SRU on Nov. 2.
Rice brings 26 years of executive-level human resources experience in benefits, payroll, performance, management, employee relations, recruiting, safety and wellness. At SRU, she will lead the human resources area that encompasses compensation and benefits, talent management and development, labor relations, payroll, compliance, and campus, climate and culture. As a strategic executive leader, she will join the President’s Cabinet and Administrative Council.

Natalie will provide the leadership to help us do this.”

Rice earned her Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Pittsburgh, her MBA from Robert Morris University, and her Doctor of Education in leadership and administration from Point Park University. She resides with her family in Leechburg.
