The Slippery Rock University Art Department engages a network of students and alumni to celebrate artists of the past, present and future. The Martha Gault Art Gallery hosted the triennial Art Alumni Exhibition, with a closing reception and award presentation on April 9, culminating a three-week exhibit that displayed alumni artwork.

Featured artists donated to the Alumni Award, a scholarship funded entirely by alumni presented every four years to one current art student. The scholarship was awarded to Ava McKissick, a junior art major from Butler.
