Yvonne Eaton-Stull, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of social work, wrote a chapter in a recently published book, “Animal-Assisted Intervention: Recognizing and Mitigating Potential Welfare Challenges CAB International.” The book uses real-life examples to illustrate animal-assisted intervention in a method that ensures the safety of both animal and humans.
