Eisenreich named a quarterfinalist for GRAMMY Music Educator Award

Cassandra Eisenreich, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of music, reached the quarterfinalist selection for the 2026 GRAMMY Music Educator Award program.

Administered by The Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum, the award honors impactful music educators in the United States. The award will recognize educators “who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools,” according to the GRAMMY Awards website.

Semifinalists will be announced in September, and the finalists will be announced during GRAMMY Week 2026. Eisenreich is among 200 other educators from 180 cities across the United States to reach the quarterfinals.
