Slippery Rock University’s Macoskey Center received a grant of $250,000 from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The grant will provide several upgrades for the Macoskey Center including two additional accessible parking spaces, an accessible boardwalk with an observation deck and an accessible pathway to connect the parking spaces to the Macoskey Center’s existing outdoor classroom space and the Bluebird Trail.
Samantha Bortz, director of the Macoskey Center, wrote the grant application.
