Noah White, a Slippery Rock University sophomore dual music education and music performance major from Ambridge, recently advanced to the semifinals of the Schmidt Vocal Competition. White competed against more than 400 undergraduate students across the nation from universities like the Julliard School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music.
The William E. Schmidt Foundation hosts annual vocal competitions for undergraduate and high school voice students across the nation, and awards students pursuing careers in the musical arts.
