Wells receives grant to help credential teachers in child care settings

Deborah Wells, a Slippery Rock University professor of curriculum, instruction and education leadership, received a grant of $29,684 from through the Early Childhood Education Professional Development Organization of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The grant will provide a pathway for credentialing 10 undergraduate students who are current Pennsylvania residents to teach in certified child care settings.
