Junko Yamamoto, a Slippery Rock University professor of secondary education and foundations of education, presented at the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, Feb. 22-24, in New York. Yamamoto’s presentation, titled “Equipping Antiracist and Anti-bias Language Educators,” provided a list of resources for educators when dealing with difficult situations involving racism or bias in the education field.
