Santos receives grant from West Virginia University Research Corporation

Iuri Santos, a Slippery Rock University assistant professor of physics and engineering, received a grant of $31,399 from the West Virginia University Research Corporation, through the U.S. Department of the Interior, to research alternative ways to improve dewatering of acid mine drainage sludges in remote sites. Santos will conduct this research with current SRU students.
