Lua Augustin, a Slippery Rock University associate professor of accounting, economics and finance, recently wrote an article that was published in the Financial Services Review titled “Timing and frequency of financial education and positive financial behaviors.” The article studies the association between timing and frequency of financial education and the financial behaviors of those who receive education. Augustin’s study showed that early and frequent access to financial education is associated with positive financial behaviors.
