SRU welcomed more than 1,400 students to campus, Aug. 22, as the University hosted move-in day for first-year and transfer students. Hundreds of volunteers helped coordinate the effort and carry students’ belongings into their rooms. The day marked the beginning of SRU’s Week of Welcome, a series of events created to acclimate first-year students to college life and life away from home for the first time. Returning students move in Aug. 25 and fall semester classes begin Aug. 26. Additional photos by Katie Domaracki, a senior communication integrated marketing major from Selinsgrove.
