Engage with the Slippery Rock University community and enjoy the campus and activities designed for graduates young and old at SRU’s annual Alumni Weekend, June 6-8.
Hosted by the SRU Alumni Engagement Office and the SRU Alumni Association, the weekend will feature campus tours, food-tasting events, reunion celebrations and other exclusive programs for SRU alumni.
Additionally, the 2025 Rock Solid 10 Under 10 awards will be presented, honoring SRU alumni who graduated no more than 10 years ago and who have accomplished significant professional and/or personal milestones.
The 2025 honorees are:
- Angela Baker, a 2021 graduate with a degree in health and physical education, who is a former assistant coach for the New York Giants football team.
- Olivia Beach, a 2020 graduate with a degree in sport management, who is assistant director of athletic compliance at the University of Southern California.
- Anthony DeRosa, a 2017 graduate with a degree in art, a professional artist and educator who is the owner of Mud Monkey Pottery and is a commercial art instructor at the Lawrence County Community Technical Center.
- Celine Halt, a 2020 graduate with a degree in resort, recreation and hospitality management, who is manager of ballpark presentation for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team.
- Elijah Hill, a 2016 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in management and 2018 master’s degree in business administration, is an entrepreneur who owns Wealth Professionals Worldwide, the Hill & Company Events Center, Tee’s Carpet Cleaning Services, and the Levels Agency, a marketing, management and entertainment company.
- Elisha Hill, a 2016 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in management and 2018 master’s degree in business administration, is an entrepreneur who is the senior marketing director for the World Financial Group and owner of the Hill & Company Events Center and the Levels Agency, a marketing, management and entertainment company.
- Sean Kalmeyer, a 2020 graduate with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a 2022 master’s degree in physician assistant studies, who is a physician assistant for Allegheny Health Network.
- Elizabeth Kemick, a 2021 graduate with a degree in accounting, who is an audit senior at the Ernst & Young accounting firm.
- Lauren King, a 2016 graduate with a degree in psychology and a 2019 master’s degree in student affairs in higher education, who is a campus recruiter for Highmark Health.
- Henry Litwin, a 2020 graduate with a degree in safety management, who is a safety manager for Deep Well Services and former professional football player.
Complete biographies of each of the Rock Solid 10 Under 10 award recipients are available on the SRU Alumni Association website. They will be recognized at an awards brunch at 9:30 a.m., June 7, in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
